Responsibilities
  • Inspecting and approving incoming materials and instruments by confirming specifications, conducting visual inspections and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable products.
  • Monitoring warehouse operations to ensure that standard operation procedures (SOPs) are followed.
  • Providing the guidelines for proper materials and instrument handling during receiving, packing and shipping.
  • Documenting all the operation issues with corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) and performing continuous improvement in operations.
  • Documenting and updating standard operation procedures (SOPs) and implementing SOPs in operations.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Working with vendors and manufacturers to resolve product quality issues and provide post sales customer support.
  • New business development and current vendors relationship management.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Minimum a college degree in a STEM major is required. Chemistry or Materials Science major is preferred
  • Experience in quality control and SOP documentation preferred
  • Experience in instrument troubleshooting and repair preferred
  • 1+ years laboratory R&D experience preferred
  • Experience in lab supplies and lab equipment for chemistry and materials science R&D preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong ability to address multiple tasks simultaneously to manage projects effectively
  • Organized and efficient. Details-oriented
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Self-motivated and trustworthy
  • Entrepreneurial-minded
