    Applications

Dysprosium Nitrate Hydrate (Dy(NO3)3 · xH2O) is a light yellow rare earth salt. It is soluble in water and thus needs to be stored in airtight condition. It is used as a source material to make other dysprosium iron compounds, intermediate compounds, chemical reagents, etc. It is also used as catalysts and dopants in different kinds of materials to improve their properties.
