    Applications 

    Cerium Carbonate Ce2(CO3)3 is a white rare earth salt. It is used as raw materials to make other cerium complexes such as cerium (III) chloride. Other applications include as high grade polishing powder, to decolorize glass by keeping iron in its ferrous state and in incandescent lamps.
