Sodium ion battery (SIB) is a type of rechargeable battery analogous to the lithium-ion battery but using sodium ions (Na+) as the charge carriers. Sodium-ion batteries can be the best alternative to lithium-ion batteries, owing to their similar electrochemistry, non-toxicity, elemental-abundance and the low-cost of sodium.

Sodium hexafluorophosphate (NaPF6) solution in ethylene carbonate (EC) and dimethyl carbonate (DMC) is a classic electrolyte that can be used in the fabrication of sodium-ion batteries. This product contains 1kg 1M NaPFin EC/DMC=1:1 (v/v) solution which is suitable for coin cell R&D. We can customize the organic solvent categories and volume ratio.
