CZ - Ceramic Shots for Shot Peening, all sizes, 1kg
CZ beads are suitable for a number of applications, including shot peening to increase the fatigue life by stress relief and peen-forming/straightening. Additionally, they can be used with wheel turbines and High Strength Steel (HSS) at the same intensity range as steel shots. All our CZ ceramic shot peening beads comply with the Aerospace Materials Specification AMS2431/7B. For example, CZ300 ceramic shots are commonly used for shot peening of hardened stainless steel parts such as 440C stainless steel with hardness of HRC60.
