As indicated by the name, Aspherized Achromatic Lenses can reduce both chromatic aberration and spherical aberration. The function is achieved by gluing an optical element with a polymer component. The polymer component is not scratch free and thus needs to be handled carefully. They are widely used in condenser lens system, high numerical aperture imaging system, etc.
