    Lutetium Chloride Hexahydrate (LuCl3 · 6H2O) is a colorless rare earth salt. It is used as starting material for other lutetium complexes and aluminate phosphors. It is used as additives in ceramics, optical glasses, electrical components and photo-optical material. It is also used as a catalyst and laboratory reagent.
