Product details
Platinum crucibles offered by MSE Supplies are made from 99.95% platinum. It has unique features such as high temperature strength ductility, good corrosion/oxidation resistance and excellent resistance to chemical attacks by acids and fusion mixtures. It is widely used for XRF sample preparation, wet chemistry, ash testing, and Loss on Ignition (LOI) applications.
Powder processing is recommended for the best calcination and sintering results. MSE Supplies offer a variety ofballing milling equipment and accessories for powder processing.

Maximum temperature: 1200 °C
Recommend use temperature: <900 °C. Continuous heating above 900 °C will shorten the crucible life time.
