Beryllium Oxide (BeO) Ceramic Plate

Beryllium Oxide (BeO), also known as beryllia, is one of the best ceramics for heat dissipation related applications. It has characteristics like high thermal conductivity, high melting point, high strength, low dielectric loss, etc. BeO ceramics also has the combination of low density and high neutron moderation and reflection capabilities compared with Aluminum Nitride (AlN) and Alumina (Al₂O₃). These properties makes BeO ceramic a great candidate for the moderator/reflector materials in nuclear reactors. It is also widely used in medical, industrial and electronics industries.
