It can work without any external controller and perform quick automatic calibration, making the setting of the autofocus system easier and faster. Keeping the sample in focus is essential for accurate inspection and measurement when the scale of interest is down to the micron scale. A compact and fast autofocus module is a key component concerning the accuracy and throughput of the entire system. JadeDot-AF is a fast autofocus system with a compact size and simple user interface. The calibration process for different samples can be done automatically. After calibration, ±250um defocus distance can be refocused within 0.3 seconds.
