SPECIFICATIONS
This micrometer adjustable film applicator is designed for uniform slurry coating for battery research using the doctor blade coating and tape casting technique. Its unique feature is the adjustable coating film thickness (0~4500 um) and width (0~150 mm). Coating thickness can be controlled by the knife blade clearance adjusted by micrometer heads. The micrometer head controllable accuracy is 10 um. The blade is made of stainless steel. It is a perfect tool for battery slurry coating on Al and Cu foils. It also can be used for other wet film coating.
*Clean the tool after each use to prevent contamination and corrosion.
