MSE PRO Magnesium Aluminate (MgAl₆O₁₀) Crystal Substrates

Magnesium aluminate (MgAl₆O₁₀ ) single crystals have lower lattice mismatch and thermal expansion mismatch than MgAl₂O₄. The lower melting point allows MgAl₆O₁₀ to have better crystal quality and larger available sizes than MgAl₂O₄. It is often used as the substrate for the epitaxial of Gallium Nitride (GaN) and Zinc Oxide (ZnO).
