All-solid-state sodium (Na) batteries are attracting attention as alternative systems to lithium-ion batteries because of the high abundance and safety of Na. NASICON Na3Zr2Si2PO12 is one of the few electrolytes that simultaneously achieve superionic conductivity and excellent chemical/electrochemical stability, making it a very promising alternative to liquid electrolytes. It has unique features such as large ionic conductivity, wide electrochemical window, good chemical stability, and high mechanical strength. Recent literature demonstrates its good cycling stability for over 120 cycles with very limited capacity degradation.
