Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) is one of the most popular ways for manufacturing synthetic diamond. It is more common than the traditional high pressure high temperature (HPHT) method due to lower cost. These synthetic diamonds are similar to the natural diamonds. The differences are that synthetic diamonds are made in the lab and have less flaws than the natural diamonds. CVD diamonds can be divided to single crystal and polycrystalline diamonds. Both of them have exceptional thermal conductivity, high electron mobility, and high power capacity, which is suitable for semiconductors, electronics, quantum, jewelries, and many other applications.
