MSE Supplies offers a high performance RF-ICP Compact Glow Discharge Cleaning System. It is commonly used to make TEM support films or grids hydrophilic by making a carbon film surface negatively charged. Thus aqueous solutions can spread easily. It can also be used when preparing some bio-samples for SEM observation.
Our Compact Glow Discharge Cleaning System uses a premium Radio Frequency (RF) Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) source. Therefore, our design has significantly better performance than common glow discharge cleaning systems that use Direct Current (DC) energy such as the easiGlow system. Our RF ICP Compact Glow Discharge Cleaning System is not only more efficient but also generates uniform plasma thus resulting in much lower heat generation and less plasma damage to the sample.
