Indium Tin Oxide (In2O3/SnO2 90/10 wt%, ITO) is the most widely used compound in the thin film industry due to its electrical conductivity and optical transparency. 90/10 wt% Indium tin oxide has a melting point of approximately 1,800°C and a density of 7.14 g/cc. Its color varies from pale yellow to dark green or dark grey due to oxygen defects. It is mainly used to generate transparent conductive layers for LCDs, optical coatings, electronics, sensors and solar cells.
