Bismuth oxide nanoparticle is a good candidate of metal oxide for various applications in preparation of nanostructures, photocatalyst, solid oxide fuel cell, gas sensor catalyst for oxidation of hydrocarbons, catalytic performance for reduction, water purification, photovoltaic, biomedical, and antibacterial effect. Novel Bi2O3 nanocatalyst has been employed which proves to be thermally stable, cost-effective, recylable, environmental friendly and exhibits maximum catalytic activity during transesterification reaction.
