    Applications 

    Terbium Fluoride (TbF3) is a white rare earth salt. As an optical material, it is used in fiber doping, laser, fluorescent light-emitting, fiber optic, optical coating and as a green phosphor activator component. It is also used in the preparation of electroluminescent thin films and luminescent zinc sulfide.
