XQ Manual SDM-1 Handheld Powder Dispenser

The manual Solids Dispenser SDM-1 can dispense calibrated volumetric doses (and multiples) of powders in a highly precise and repeatable fashion.

The SDM-1 comes with 5 volumetric dispensing disks (the dosing element) covering the dose volume range of 5mm³-300mm³. Additional dispensing disks can be supplied which are calibrated precisely to specific dose volumes. A calibration certificate is provided.

Note: Also, if an order is placed and no calibration information is sent to MSE Supplies, the default disk selection will be the standard disk set.

Sample size requirement for Machine Calibration: 

At least 20x of dosage requirements (e.g. 40 grams for a dosage of 2 grams); 

Please fill out the Sample Request form HERE and include with your calibration sample sent to XQ Instruments.

The SDM-1 powder dispenser increases lab productivity and at the same time ensures process accuracy in solids/powder dosing. Due to its compact handheld configuration, it is easy to integrate in the workflow and alleviates tedious repetitive powder measuring tasks.

SDM-1 can be calibrated typically for dosing from 5 mg up to 300 mg in a single dose (depending on material).

There are two options for receiving the dispenser disks for the SDM-1 Dispenser. Please specify when ordering: 

1. We can ship it with 5 standard disks covering the range from 2.5 mm³ to 300 mm³

OR

2. We can calibrate one disk to a specific dose size based on your requirements.
