HSP70 inducer
Functions
Induces expression of HSP70 after various types of stimuli. Protects against visceral adipocity and insulin resistance in high fat fed mice. Displays protective effects via enhanced induction of HSPB1 and HSPB8 in mitochondria of the failing heart following myocardial infarction in rats.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 30 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
