Functions
A potent and selective inhibitor of fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH, the enzyme which hydrolyzes and deactivates anandamide), IC50=9.1 nM. Also inhibits monoacylglycerol lipase (MAGL, the enzyme which hydrolyzes 2-arachidonoyl-glycerol), IC50=7.9 μM.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 30 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
