Description

TribioScience’s Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) is a basal cell culture medium developed to support the growth and maintenance of a broad range of mammalian cell types. This formulation includes low glucose (1 g/L), L-glutamine, sodium pyruvate, and phenol red but does not contain HEPES buffer. DMEM provides a rich nutrient profile, with higher concentrations of amino acids and vitamins compared to Eagle’s Minimal Essential Medium (EMEM) and is designed to be supplemented with Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) or other appropriate supplements.

Application

• Culture of primary cells and cell lines, including:

– Fibroblasts
– Neurons and glial cells
– Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs)
– Smooth muscle cells
– Cell lines: HeLa, 293, Cos-7, PC-12

• Suitable for research and human ex vivo tissue and cell culture processing applications
• For in vitro use only
