Applications

GSK-3β inhibitor

Functions

Potent and selective inhibitor of glycogen synthase kinase-3β (GSK3β, IC50 = 5 nM) and GSK3α (IC50 = 10 nM). Induces osteoblastogenesis, increases mineralization and inhibits adipogenesis in ST2 cells. Promotes replication and survival of pancreatic beta cells. Enhances differentiation and reduces proliferation of adult human olfactory epithelium neural precursors. Cell permeable and active in vivo.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20° for up to 3 months.
