Arylhydrocarbon receptor antagonist

Functions

Arylhydrocarbon (AhR) receptor antagonist, IC50=30 nM. Blocks endogenous AhR agonist-induced differentiation of Th17 cells. Promotes expansion of human hematopoietic stem cells. Mitigates cytokine-mediated inflammatory signaling in human fibroblast-like synoviocytes. An important tool for probing the involvement of AhR in the toxicity of various environmental toxins such as TCDD and other dioxins.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 10 mg/ml with warming), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
