Applications:

Layerd double hydroxide (LDH) possesses layered structures that enable integration into clay-like materials and adsorption of anionic compounds, such as dyes and ionic organic compounds, utilizing the ion exchange mechanism. This ability has a potentially increased efficiency in the photcatalytic process. ZnAl-LDH is a type of photoactive material that has been explored as a highly efficient photocatalyst for degrading certain organic pollutants. Owing to its substantial adsorption capacity and quick adsorption rate, it can be employed as an adsorbent.
