Applications:  

Chromium Diboride powder is mainly used in coating due to its hardness, wear resistive, and corrosive resistive properties. CrB2 powder has been used in metal matrix composites (MMCs), cutting tools, plasma technologies, spark sintering, and as electrodes in electron microscopes.
