Introduction

These are electrolyte-free dry pouch cells with stable material properties. They can be directly filled with electrolyte for cell performance testing.

Operation procedure for battery testing

1. Battery Electrolyte Injection
Inject electrolyte according to the recommended dosage in the table; complete the operation in a glove box

2. Battery Aging
Aging temperature: 45°C; duration ≥15 hours; aging completed in a drying oven.

3. Battery Formation

  1.  battery test cabinet:
  • Lithium battery: 25°C, rest for 5 min → charge at 0.02C for 5 h → charge at 0.1C for 3 h; one cycle.
  1. Horizontal Thermal Pressing Formation Machine:
  • 45°C, pressure 4 kg/cm²
  • Charge at 0.02C for 5 h → charge at 0.1C for 3 h
  • One cycle completed

4. Battery Aging (Secondary)
Aging temperature: 45°C; duration ≥24 hours.

5. Battery Capacity Division
Set the corresponding material cutoff voltage and cycle twice with a current level of 0.1C or 0.2C.

6. Battery Testing
Set the magnification or repeat the process step to test the battery.
