instaBAG® Fraser ½ is a filter bag which encloses a dehydrated pre-dosed media, allowing a 2-in-1 process: media and sample preparation for microbiological analyses. Fraser ½ is used as a medium for primary selective enrichment for the detection and enumeration of Listeria monocytogenes.

APPLICATIONS
instaBAG® supplemented Fraser ½ is used in the food industry and public institutes research. Fraser allows the suspension of solid samples of 25 g diluted at 1/10th for the detection of Listeria monocytogenes. This selective media is already supplemented. It is validated according to ISO 11133.

• Enzymatic digest of animal tissues: 5,0 g
• Casein enzymatic digest: 5,0 g

HOW TO USE
• Place the sample in the filter bag instaBAG®
• Add water (sterile, deionized, at room temperature)
• Place the bag in a lab blender to dissolve the culture media and homogenize the sample
• Blend for 2 minutes to perfectly dissolve the powder in the water
