Tribo SOB (Super Optimal Broth) Medium is formulated according to Hanahan’s recipe. It is a highly-referenced microbial growth medium used for the preparation and transformation of competent cells like recombinant E. coli.
Compositions:
- 2.0% Tryptone.
- 0.5% Yeast extract.
- 10mM Sodium Chloride.
- 2.5mM Potassium Chloride.
- 10mM Magnesium Chloride.
- 10mM Magnesium Sulfate.
- pH: 7.0 ±0.2
