SNS-314 is a potent and selective pan-Aurora kinase inhibitor (IC50’s: Aurora A = 9 nM, Aurora B = 31 nM, Aurora C = 3 nM. It was able to inhibit proliferation in a wide panel of human cancer cell lines including colon (HCT116), breast (MDA-MB-231), prostate (PC-3), lung (H1299, Calu-6), ovarian (A2780), melanoma (A375) and liver (SMMC-7721, HepG2, LM6).

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to at least 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20° for up to 1 month.
