TNFa inhibitor
Functions
Potent inhibitor of NFκB in T-lymphocytes with almost complete inhibition at 200 nM. Completely inhibits IL-4 and IFN-γ production and suppresses IL-2 and TNF-α production at 50 nM in T-cells, without inhibiting AP-1 and NF-κB. Immunosuppresive activity is due to inhibition of cytokine gene expression via blocking NF-AT activity. Has anti-cancer properties via various pathways including ERK inhibition, ATM/ATR-Chk1/Chk2 activation, and p38 and JNK activation.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO, then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
