Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (Y3Al5O12, YAG) Crystals, Substrates and Powders

Posted by MSE Supplies Admin on

MSE Supplies offers Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (Y3Al5O12): Undoped YAG (Yttrium Aluminum Garnet) is a crystal and window material for both IR and UV optics.  Undoped YAG is highly transmissive in the IR region where glasses tend to absorb.  YAG is much easier to be polished to optical specifications but retains the chemical robustness near that of Sapphire.  YAG is a non-birefringent material.

MSE Supplies offers a variety of laser active ion doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (Y3Al5O12): For laser emission of 1064 nm, please look at the Nd:YAG we offer.  If you need a 1645 nm laser gain media source, please look here at the Er:YAG MSE Supplies offers.  Depending on your pump selection from our Yb:YAG, you can get a 1030 or a 1050 nm emission from this crystal. Although the 1030 nm line has the highest output.

MSE Supplies offers a Cerium doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (Ce:Y3Al5O12): If you need a fast scintillator material, please look at the Ce:YAG in our catalog.  We also offer Ce:YAG powders for LED phosphors whit emit in the range of 530 to 560 nm.
