Pellet Press Dies

Posted by MSE Supplies Admin on

A pellet press die is used to create pellets from a powder material. The die (mold) holds the uncompressed powder in a shaped chamber. The chamber shape determines the final pellet form.  All of our powder press dies (with the exception of the 2” model) are set up for optional vacuum pressing. We offer a variety of high quality hardened carbon steel pressing dies for extremely competitive prices. The maximum working pressure for our pellet pressing dies is 800 MPa, see below for a conversion chart to metric ton force.  If you need a die diameter or a shape that is not listed please contact us at tech@msesupplies.com for a quote for customized pellet pressing die. If you need supplies for processing your powders such as ball mills and accessories or an agate mortar and pestle set, please click on the provided links.
