Phospholipase C inhibitor

Functions

Inhibits receptor-coupled phospholipase C-dependent processes in platelets and neutrophils via interfering with G protein-PLC interaction.  A useful tool for probing the involvement of PI-PLC in receptor mediated cellular physiology and processes. Cell permeable.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in Methylene chloride or Chloroform or DMSO (up to 2 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 1 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Use caution when storing DMSO solutions. Typically solutions in DMSO can be stored at -20°C for approximately 2 months. However, any solutions that turn pink should be discarded.
