CXCR4 antagonist
Functions
Plerixafor is a highly selective CXCR4 antagonist (IC50 = 20-130 nM). Originally investigated as an HIV replication inhibitor. Plerixafor has been investigated for the treatment autoimmune diseases and various cancers. Clinically useful for the mobilization of hematopoietic stem cells in the treatment of blood cancers.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in Water (up to 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in distilled water may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
