Phenol-Chloroform-Isoamyl alcohol mixture solution (25:24:1) contains chloroform, isoamyl alcohol, and phenol saturated with 100mM Tris-EADTA (TE) buffer at the pH: 8.0. This reagent is used in the purification of nucleic acids, such as DNA.
