Glutaminyl cyclase inhibitor
Functions
Inhibitor of human glutaminyl cyclase (IC50 = 60 nM). PBD-150 diminished Ab plaque formation and gliosis while improving memory in a mouse model with small amounts of Ab3(pE)-40/42.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to at least 25 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to at least 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
