5-Lipoxygenase activating protein (FLAP) inhibitor

Functions

Inhibitor of leukotriene biosynthesis(IC50 = 2.5 nM in human PMN) via 5-lipoxygenase-activating protein (FLAP) inhibition (IC50 = 30 nM). Also inhibits PPARα (80% inhibition at 10 µM).

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 40 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
