Functions

Natural product that acts as an inducer of human AhR-dependent gene expression with 10-fold greater potency over the endogenous agonist TCDD. Indirubin also inhibits CDKs (IC50 = 50–100 nM) and GSK-3β (IC50 = 5-50 nM). Ameliorates the effects of a high-fat diet on mice. Breaks the inflammatory cycle in in vitro and in vivo models of psoriasis. Inhibits angiogenesis and causes autophagy and apoptosis in cancer cells.

Application Procedures
