Functions

A naturally occurring flavonoid with a wide range of biological actions. Inhibits protein tyrosine kinases including epidermal growth factor receptor kinase. Phytoestrogen and agonist at GPR30. Displays cancer chemopreventive activity.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 4 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 week.
