Flavoprotein inhibitor
Functions
An irreversible inhibitor of iNOS and eNOS (IC50s=50 and 100 nM respectively. Binds to and inhibits the flavoprotein of neutrophil NADPH oxidase. Novel agonist for GPR3. Inhibits NFκB activation induced by IL-1β. Prevents early alcohol-induced liver injury in rodent models.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 5 mg/ml, with warming), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
