Synchrotron X-ray Diffraction (XRD) Analytical Service

Synchrotron XRD is commonly used for structural analysis and phase identification. Compared to conventional X-rays, synchrotron radiation provides a continuously adjustable wavelength over a wide range and excellent collimation, offering superior scale range and resolution.

For Synchrotron X-ray Diffraction analysis of powdered samples, please prepare at least 20 mg, with 0.1 g or more being ideal. The particle size should be uniform (approximately 45 µm or passed through a 200-mesh sieve) and feel smooth to the touch, with a flour-like texture. For bulk samples, the dimensions should be 1-2 cm in length and width (generally not smaller than 1 cm) and a thickness of less than 5 mm.
