MSE PRO™ Vacuum Pre-Sealing and Second Sealing Integrated Machine (Split Type, For Use Inside Glove Box)
This equipment is primarily designed for vacuuming and heat-sealing of pouch cells after electrolyte filling and standing. The sealing head is made of brass material, which offers excellent heat transfer, reduces power consumption, and improves work efficiency, resulting in higher energy savings compared to similar products. For vacuum pre-sealing and vacuum second sealing the openable cavity cover and the cavity body form as sealed chamber. Vacuum is applied to the chamber to create negative pressure. When the vacuum reaches the set value, the sealing head utilizes thermal conduction to act on the battery’s packaging material (aluminum-laminated film), heating and softening it to a near-molten state, thereby fusing the layers together. For second sealing the gasbag must be manually punctured or have its air extraction port trimmed to allow extraction of excess gas from the battery. The cavity cover is opened and closed manually. Batteries are placed into the chamber by hand and removed manually after the vacuuming and heat-sealing is completed according to the programmed settings. Vacuum extraction is performed at a controlled slow pace. The device is tilted at a 20° angle (i.e., the battery is placed in a tilted position) to minimize the risk of electrolyte being extracted. If a small amount of electrolyte is still extracted, the customer should optimize the amount of electrolyte injected to reduce excess electrolyte and avoid its extraction. The lower sealing head is fixed, while the upper sealing head is driven by a cylinder and guided by a linear bushing. This ensures smooth vertical movement and precise guidance to meet the sealing requirements for the product.
Features:
- The incoming batteries are all placed at a 20°tilt angle.
- The equipment features a split-type design separate from the electrical cabinet (for use inside a glove box).
- The pressure of the sealing head is adjustable via a pressure regulator valve to meet different process parameter requirements.
Notes:
- Regularly wipe the upper and lower plates and the vacuum chamber to keep them clean.
- Lubricate the bearing moving parts with oil to ensure smooth movement.
- If not used for a long time, wipe the surfaces of the mechanical moving parts clean and apply anti-rust oil for protection.
- Regularly inspect the screws, nuts, pins, and other fasteners of the machine to prevent failures and accidents due to loosening.
