MSE PRO Si/C Electrode Sheet for Lithium-ion Battery Anode 10 cm x 10 cm (5 pieces)

SDS Sheet

Introduction

This product is a silicon-carbon composite electrode sheetdeveloped for use in battery research and component-level testing. It features a high active material loading of 95%, composed of 5% Si/C 1800 and 95% graphite, delivering a specific capacity of 420 mAh/g within a 0.005–2.000 V window and an areal capacity of 1.9 mAh/cm². The electrode is fabricated on a 9 μm carbon-coated copper foil current collector, with a coating areal density of 4.80 mg/cm². To achieve optimal electrochemical performance, it requires the use of Canrd’s recommended KLD-Si01 electrolyte and specified testing protocols, as variations in electrolyte or method may significantly alter results. Common applications include half-cell evaluation and full-cell assembly with compatible cathode models at an N/P ratio of approximately 1.09. Storage under vacuum is recommended for up to six months, with use within one month after opening.

Usage recommendations
  1. If the electrode is not compacted, it should be compacted before punching and baking. (Reference minimum value above for compacted density.)

  2. Baking conditions: 85–105°C for 4 hours.
If vacuum baking, replace the air twice.

  3. Active material mass should be weighed for each circular electrode individually for accurate calculation.

*This product must be tested in accordance with the recommended test methods and electrolytes to achieve the corresponding performance. Since the test method and electrolyte have a great influence on the performance of the battery, any change in the test method or electrolyte may reduce the performance of the pole piece; be sure to check this information before purchasing.
