AlSi10Mg alloy is a typical aluminum based alloy that offers good strength, hardness and dynamic properties, and is therefore used for parts subject to high mechanical loads. Parts made with Aluminum AlSi10Mg alloy are ideal for applications which require a combination of good thermal properties and low weight. They can be machined, spark-eroded, welded, micro shot-peened, polished and coated if required.
AlSi10Mg metal powder for additive manufacturing (3D printing) is an excellent choice for the 3D printing of lightweight parts with good thermal properties, also as a substitution of casted parts.
