Applications 

Hexagonal Boron Nitride (h-BN) is the most stable crystalline form of boron nitride which has a layered structure similar to graphite. Hexagonal Boron Nitride has wide bandgap, low dielectric constant, high thermal conductivity, and chemical inertness. h-BN powder is widely used  for insulating and thermally conductive fillers, deep ultraviolet light sources, dielectric layers, cosmetic products, microwave-transparent shields, durable high-temperature crucibles, anti-oxidation lubricants and protective coatings.
