Operation procedure for battery testing

1. Battery Electrolyte Injection
Refer to the dosage reference table; administration should be performed in a glove box.

2. Battery Aging
Aging temperature: 45°C; duration ≥15 hours; aging completed in an oven.

3. Battery Formation

  1.  battery test cabinet:
  • Lithium battery: 25°C, rest for 5 min → charge at 0.02C for 5 h → charge at 0.1C for 3 h; one cycle.
  • Sodium battery: rest for 5 min → charge at 0.05C to 3 V or 6 h → rest for 3 min → charge at 0.2C to 3.95 V or 5 h.
  1. Horizontal Thermal Pressing Formation Machine:
  • 45°C, pressure 3.5 kg/cm²
  • Charge at 0.02C for 5 h → charge at 0.1C for 3 h
  • One cycle completed

4. Battery Aging (Secondary)
Aging temperature: 45°C; duration ≥24 hours.

5. Battery Capacity Division
Set the corresponding material cutoff voltage and cycle twice with a current level of 0.1C or 0.2C.

6. Battery Testing
Set the magnification or repeat the process step to test the battery.
