The Buck Scientific HC-404 Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) Analyzer is a fixed-wavelength infrared spectrometer designed for fast, accurate, and reliable analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons in water, soil, and sludge samples.

Operating at a fixed wavelength of 2924 cm⁻¹ / 2930 cm⁻¹, the HC-404 enables rapid TPH measurement without unnecessary scanning. The system supports commonly used analytical methods, including ASTM D7066-04, EPA Method 418.1, and EPA Method 413.2, making it suitable for environmental testing, industrial wastewater monitoring, laboratory screening, oil site discharge testing, automotive service station waste monitoring, and marine transportation discharge analysis.
