AMEL 250mL PMMA Cylindrical Flat Sample Cell, Model 597

Overview

The Model 597 has been designed as a highly versatile electrochemical cell for testing flat specimens. The exposed surface area can be easily adjusted by replacing the cover mask. A variety of standard masks are available, and custom masks can be manufactured upon request. The cell is gas-tight, enabling experiments under an inert atmosphere.

The closing cap includes four NS12 conical tapered joint housings, each compatible with AMEL electrodes when used with the appropriate plastic adapter. The cell is typically provided as a complete kit with a dedicated support stand.

Each set includes essential components for general operation:

• PMMA 250 mL main body (597/MB)

• Stainless steel cell support (597/CH)

• Gas bubbler (494/GB)

• Two Luggin capillaries (2x 597/LU)

• Two main body sealing gaskets (2x 597/OR)

• Sample mask and sealing gasket (597/SH-X & 597/SHOR-X)

• Complete support stand (591/BASE & 591/COBO)

Recommended electrodes:

• For reference (RE), counter (CE), and pH measurements: Ø12 mm electrodes with 391/CR adapter, or Ø6 mm electrodes with 391/CR and 435/CR adapters

• Conductivity measurements require Ø12 mm electrodes with 391/CR adapter for compatibility with this cell
