Matt McBride supports the MSE Supplies Life Sciences division. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Physiological Sciences from the University of Arizona.
His research focused on the neuroendocrine system, specifically how feed additives affect stress-response feedback loops. That work included detailed analysis of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis and quantifying CRH/VP, ACTH and cortisol levels in blood.
At MSE Supplies, Matt writes on life science laboratory practice, including dissolved oxygen drift in bioreactor systems and what separates a reliable microplate washer from an unreliable one.
